A mouse went up in a big balloon,

And sailed along in style

Until at last he reached the moon

And there he stayed a-while.

The man in the moon came out to see

Who chanced to pass that way.

"I'm glad to see you mouse,"

"I hope you've come to stay."

"You're warmly welcome at my house,

Tho' there's nothing to eat but cheese."

"If that's the case," said master Mouse

"I'll stay as long as you please."
